Coach Dudley and Ashley have a passion for track as they both competed in high school and college where they met at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Coach Ashley’s events were the 800m, 1600m and 4x400m. During the summer prior to her senior year, Coach Ashley ran summer track and competed at the AAU National Junior Olympics in the 1500m, where she came in 4th place, with a time of 4:53 and 9th place in the 800m. Coach Ashley went on to run cross country and track at TAMUCC and improved her 800m personal best time to 2:13.

Coach Dudley ran track and played football in both high school and college. His events were 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay. He is the record holder at his high school in the 100m dash with a time of 10.79 and qualified for AAU summer track regionals in all of his events. He was a three year starting quarterback in high school. He then played two years of football at Cisco Junior College where he transitioned to the defensive side of the ball. Coach Dudley later joined the TAMUCC track team for two years and ran another year as an unattached athlete.

Dudley and Ashley have called Boerne home since 2016 and continue to enjoy running, working out and staying active. They have passed down the family track tradition to their two children, Dudley III and Kinley, who run for the HCC. They enjoy helping each athlete improve their running form, speed, endurance and self confidence and look forward to another track season! Go Comets!
