2026 Hill Country Comets Summer Track-Wimberley

The Hill Country Comets Track Club is a competitive co-ed youth track club for ages 8yr-18yr. Our season is 4 months, with practices starting on April 6th and the season ends on August 8th (the last meet is the AAU Jr. Olympics).

Practices will be held at Wimberley ISD Stadium on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-730pm.

(These days are subject to change based on school events/stadium availability)

Registration Costs

$500

$25 late fee added on 4/14/2026

Payment plans available starting on Jan 1st-divided into 4 installments

Families registering multiple athletes will receive a $25 discount for 2nd athlete, and an additional $50 on 3rd and up athletes.

You are REQUIRED to register your athletes for an AAU membership PRIOR to registering for the Comet 2026 season.

You will need to go to aausports.org and sign up each athlete for an AAU membership.

First, you must create an account.
After you sign in, go to "New Membership" and then choose "Youth Athlete Membership."
Choose the Extended AB
Make sure to choose Yes on "are they a member of the club"
The Comet track club code is UQRBWJ3QC
You can register multiple athletes at a time.
When you check out, you will be offered a free AAU shirt but you have to pay for shipping.

As long as you enter our club code, you will fall under the Hill Country Comets.

Once you have your membership number, you can proceed with Comet registration.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED TO ATHLETES WHO MISS THE SEASON DUE INJURY OR ILLNESS, OR CHOOSE TO QUIT FOR ANY REASON. THERE IS NO PRORATING THE COST FOR LATE REGISTRATIONS.

TAAF Membership Fee

1 1/2 hr Training 3x week for 4 months (apx 72 hrs of training= less than $6/hr)

Practices will be held at Boerne ISD Stadium on Monday,Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-730pm.
