Fall Track Training is Back!

The goal of fall track training is to build stronger bases for all athletes, specifically working to develop strength, power, speed, endurance, stamina and flexibility. Workouts are 1 1/2 hours three days a week and are geared towards (but not limited to) athletes ages 10 and up. 
We start and end every practice with stretching, then move into a run, followed by plyometric/circuit/HIIT training. Later in the fall we will begin to work on hurdles, long jump, high jump, and throwing events. Everyone will need to purchase their own medicine ball and bring it along with a mat or towel to each workout. The majority of workouts will be on grass and off the track as this will help to prevent injuries. Workouts will be on Monday, Tues and Saturdays. This program is perfect for athletes who want to get ready for their school track seasons and/or our indoor and summer track program.
